Michael Stewart

What can you say about a guy who golfed 90 holes in one day in 5 different courses and ended up with even par?

He's good. In fact, nobody plays more golf than Michael. he averages 300 rounds per year. His wife and children are saints.

Michael is a native of lake Geneva, WI, founded where to play Golf over 10 years ago. He is "America's #1 Golf Course Writer." Golf Magazine, Corporate & Incentive Magazine, Golf Digest, TravelGolf.com, Insurance Meetings magazine and Milwaukee Magazine are some 200 publications who have enjoyed Michael's articles.

Michael's unique approach and insights to the game of golf have enlivened radio and TV broadcasts from Boston to Chicago to Seattle, Canada and beyond.

Michael is a graduate of the American Society of Golf Course Architects.

Michael is also a college graduate and wears golf sandals. The sandals have helped his game...so he thinks.

Ed Gilliland

Ed took up the game of golf late in his life and it shows. He routinely shoots in the low to mid 90's. This puts Ed smack dab in the middle of the largest group of Golfers in the country. Average Golfers. They like Ed and identify with him. He's real.

A broadcast vet for over 25 years, Ed's credits include work at WCFL, WJJD, and WFLD-TV, WYCC-TV, PBS, SPorts Channel, Fox Sports, ESPN, and Total Sports Network.

Ed continues to perform regularly as a voice for talent radio, television and major corporations. Ed is a lifelong Chicagoan. His homespun attitude and off kilter insights into the game of golf are very curious to be sure normally right on target. Which is more than we can say about his game.

In fact, nothing seems to help his golf game. Why he loves it so is a complete mystery. Yes, Ed is also a college graduate.

Mike Robinson

Mike has been playing golf for over 35 years. He learned the game in his hometown of Erie, PA.

His love and knowledge of the game, plus his 26 years of experience as a journalist, writer, editor, producer, news director and "Prime Time" news anchor gives the Where To Play Golf team a leg up in the competition. It's a different perspective. When talking with a diverse roster of guests Mike is on target. Listeners and guests love it!

Mike has worked for both ABC and NBC Television affiliates in Rockford, Illinois. He is now Director of Communications for one of Illinois largest COmmunity Colleges which serves over 10,000 students in the Rockford Metro area.

Mike is, of course a college graduate. He also dresses nicely and neither has helped his golf game.

Tim Bona

It is unfortunate Tim is only on Radio. One would think with such rugged good looks and a sharp sense of humor he would be a natural for TV.

Life isn’t fair.

And fair has nothing to do with Tim’s Golf Game! He played college golf for the Florida Gator’s and went onto the Hooters Tour, where he really put his good looks to the test. Then marriage and kids prevented him from moving onto the Nike Tour, The Nationwide and The PGA. “Fame and Fortune” are elusive and Tim settled for fame when he joined the Where to Play Golf Team.

His professional golf experience is a big plus for the show. His understanding of the game both home and away is solid. He has studied and mastered golf on many levels. Tim continues to contribute as a golf writer to many publications. However, Tim isn’t without issues. For example, he cannot distinguish between seasons. We believe it’s why he wears shorts and sandals (with socks) in winter. He also wears sandals when he’s on the links; flip flops to be exact. Tim is a native Chicagoan, He has a 5 handicap, he Hits the ball a ton off the tee, and Ed doesn’t like him.
